Certification of Team with Amercian Legion Baseball

In order to play in American Legion Baseball sanctioned tournaments, i.e. Zone Tournament, every eligible roster player must first be certified by ALB. The roster must be submitted with all the appropriate paperwork by Monday June 28, 2010, so we need to have this information provided in a hurry.

B. First year Clay Center Legion players also need to turn in an official birth certificate (one that has raised stamped seal).  No copies are accepted and they are returned unharmed.

    The 2nd place teams from each pool will play for 3rd place Sunday June 20 at 1:00 PM
    The 1st place teams from each pool will play for championship Sunday June 20 at 3:00 PM

    Clay Center Baseball
    2009 Fall Classic Baseball Skills Clinic


    Who: This clinic is open to participants in the 2009 Clay Center Recreation, K18 or American Legion baseball programs, local baseball coaches and interested parents. As this clinic is not presented by USD379 baseball coaches, CCCHS baseball players may, by KSHSAA rule, also participate.

    What: Clay Center Baseball will host a free Fall Classic Baseball Skills Clinic.

    When: Saturday October 31, 2009

    Where: CCCHS New Gym

    Why: This clinic will focus on baseball fundamentals and drills, including winter drills that can be done indoors.

    How: Simply register, then show up.

    Note: Although the clinic is free, each player under age 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian sign a consent/release form prior to participation. Forms will be available for signature before the clinic on-site at 11:45 AM in the CCCHS New Gym or can be obtained by contacting Mike Hays at the information below.

    Notes to parents/guardians:
    Participants should wear tennis shoes and sweat pants to the indoor clinic. Everyone should bring their own baseball glove and a 5 foot broomstick or PVC pipe for stretching exercises. All other equipment will be provided. Clay Center Baseball is not responsible for lost items.Appropriate behavior and conduct will be expected from our participants during this clinic. Failure to comply will result in the individual being expelled from clinic and potentially from future Clay Center Baseball activities.
